Generational change at DCC a/s

After thorough preparations DCC a/s is now ready to complete the next stage toward the generational change by augmenting the ownership stake of Managing Director Kent H. Jeppesen from 20% to 80%.

Continuous growth for 23 years

DCC was established in 1995 by Juhl Bach Holding a/s, with Johannes Bach as its Director, and after only 3 years was ranked among the top 50 businesses in terms of growth in Denmark. In 2006, Kent H. Jeppesen became a co-owner with a 20% ownership stake, being named three years later as the company's new Managing Director in accordance with Johannes Bach's desire to withdraw as the Director and focus instead solely on his job as the Board Chairman for DCC a/s.

Since that change in 2009, DCC has undergone solid and continuous growth, being named multiple times as Denmark's best IT distributor. ”I view the future of DCC with confidence and positivity, and am happy to see Kent continuing the fine work that he has already held such a large stake in,” says founder and chairman of the board Johannes Bach.

Sound business practices and new measures for the future.

”In recent years, we have been optimising and improving several areas within the company, and we have achieved good results. This will continue to be emphasised, and we will concentrate on strengthening and expanding our partnerships, optimising the purchasing experiences of our customers and expanding our already broad product line, enabling us to maintain and reinforce these positive trends,” states Kent H. Jeppesen.

With this new change, the stage has been set for further growth in the future, and the export markets are expected to make positive contributions to this growth, which will be generated from both existing as well as new customers.
